your chassis number 3677TM is fairly straightforward. The T in the suffix indicates the Triumph engine, as previously stated. The M part of the suffix indicates it is the M-series body and chassis. The 3677 is a sequential number which began with the first Vixen S2 with chassis number LVX1234F. They continued from 1234 sequentially on from that through the end of the M-series production. Prior to the four digit numerical sequence, Vixen S1s had three digit chassis numbers such as VX233, for example. Other earlier TVRs had a variety of chassis number designations.

Thank you Marshall. Thank you Colin. I thought the number was, as stated, fairly straightforward, but started to wonder when I found that work order number (again, thank you Colin) on the door panel. I've got it now.Colin.
