Error Code A

Any ideas on how to fix the Error Code A? The speedo is still working but the needle is sitting 2cm below the 0 mph mark... So recording well under the real speed! The previous posts say that it is the "sensor not activating zero switch or switch broken" - is this a back to the dealer fix, or can it be done easily?

Any help would be appreciated
