Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

As a child I could be heard running round the house and garden bellowing various phrases such as "Lean green fighting machine!" and "Cowabunga dude!".
Recently bought the CGI film from Tesco for £3 and as such am now back in to my Ninja Turtle fandom
Was anyone else a fan back in the day? Apparantly there's a new live action movie lined up with a potential release date in 2010, having seen all three live action films and now the CGI, I think I prefer the CGI.
Am I the only fan? Co-workers gave me odd looks when I tried to start up conversations about it XD

I agree! I have been wanting a live action movie for a while-i hope they make it good and dark like the first one-that was the best-true to character!!! my girl laughs that I bought the DVD's. I used to run around with my cuz with home made nunchucks and he would have the bo staff (a broom handle with no head)
I was a big turtle van.
Every year (in Holland) there's this week's festival (carnaval) which is basically like a massive fancy dress party (a week long) and when little (8 - 9 years old) my mom made me this ninja turle suit, i was so cool!
Also remember having lots of turle toys like these :

And then offcourse there were the turtle clothes, turtle shoes, video's, nintendo games (the old 8 bit one) etc etc.
Heroes in a half shell, turtle power!

Turtles was the only thing I was *really* into as a kid. One of my best childhood memories is going on holiday and finding that the local shop had ALL the figues that I couldn't get at home!
Ones of them in trenchcoats, April O'Neill, Casey Jones etc. For Christmas when I was 4 Santa brought me the Turtles' Sewer, that was immense. The Elves never managed to be able to construct the Blimp for me though, gits.
Resurrected it lately when I bought a retro Tshirt in New Look with them on it
And yes, I am female

I used to be so jealous of my neighbor whose parents bought him just about every new toy-he had the technodrome, the van, the blimp, just about everything. I had the original figures with the soft heads and the shell that opened. I recently resurrected my turtle com-it actually worked in the past via beeps that sounded like morse code. I remember getting up every saturday morning to watch the cartoon. Bebop and rock steady, krang, and baxter lol
I loved them whem I was a young un. Didnt have all the toys, but had enough to keep me entertained. The first Turtles film was the first film I ever saw at the cinema too
Also, an "interesting" fact - Uncle Phil from The Fresh Prince was also the voice of Shredder in the Turtles cartoon
