Footwell on drivers side by the noise pedal. There is a cover held on with velcro it hides in there.

Not much help now but I had a pair of those washer pipes you could of had but I am sure they went to the tip on Tuesday night! I will have a look but I don't have a lot of time today.

It seems about 4" square - is that the one you mean?
I presume it does other things too with all those cables attached - what else?

Sounds about right, black in colour, made of metal. Is there a label on it? there are several that all look the same mine all have small stickers on them that say what they are for eg mirror ECU. Door ECU etc

Not sure what else the drivers side controls, the passange side ECU on mine also controls the boot.

Hi my drivers door ecu seems to have failed, but I cannot find where it is located. I have removed the centre consol and all there seems to be up near where the ashtray is located is the alarm unit. I have also looked in the drivers footwell and no sign of it - I even removed the fuse panel to see if it is located above, but no luck. I looked behond the velcro panel next to the accelerator pedal but that seems to hide a large (engine related?) ecu unit, with no sign of the smaller door ones.

Does anyone have any suggestions / photos of where they are likely to be hidden?

Thanks,

Colin

thanks Rens, found them tucked behind another black box that was velcroed in place and hiding them....

swapped them over and sure if enough the drivers door now works and the passenger one does not, so I guess I need a new door ecu!!!!

cheers,
