Flicking through the channels yesterday I came across this man working on TV again. Of course I didn't stop to watch as I don't like the git, however, does he really have enough of a fan base to justify another show?

Oh, I guess recycling saves the planet and enough people must find him funny or they wouldn't run it.

I happened to be watching it (half heartedly) too.

Some of his observations & clips in that series are quite funny, but he is a bit like a travel blanket to me - always there, a bit garish, hard to ignore and you can take it or leave it.

There are far, far worse / irritating people on the box though, ie: Any given T4 / E4 presenter.

It was a valid point, proves you can be a junkie and not have to rob people to fund your habit. Shame he can't lose the junkie look.

yup

The whole 'I hate Russell Brand' 'oh, me too' 'yeah so do I!!' thing is just pretty tedious

It amuses me how these threads pop up pretty regularly 'omgbrandstillontvwtf!!!'

Apparently different people have different senses of humour...who'da thunk?

Yeah okay, he took it every single day for 11 years, then in 2002/2003 just said "right, that's it" and stopped, just like that?

If only it was that easy to come off heroin.

As with all comedy it's subjective.

I quite like it and his observations are pretty funny, I don't make a specific point of always watching it though, only if it's on.
