Christmas Lights...WTF!

I was just watching this on BBC news and there was some old bint defending it saying that the christmas lights can be used for other religious festivals too? It must be a running joke that she hasn't clicked on yet...
It's depressing. I don't want to hear about Christmas until 1st December personally.

This is what we have 'up north' same lights up for Eid, Diwali, and festive lights (Christmas).

They arent 'christmas lights', they are 'festival lights'. There are a number of religious significant events/festivals approaching. They are for those.

I think that's a catch 22 situation. If you're a God botherer, you're supposed to love your neighbour, so presumably shouldn't be objecting to other religions using the lights for their festivals. If you're not a God botherer, why would you care?Just aint you're religion, thats all.
