did e46 m3 not get facelift front headlights?

my e46 3 series has upswept head lights (where the indicator lights are) before about 2002 they were downswept. looks like this wasnt the case with m3's they all look downswept. am i right?

Correct - I went from facelift saloon to facelift M3.
