Do you think this Daytona is real?

I posted a pic of this in the general gassing bit, and it got picked on straight away for being fake. What do yo Ferrari owners think?



I'm pretty sure the chap who owns this also has a Gallardo, which made me think it was less likely to be a kit-car.

I think Daytona production stopped in 1973, so 'N' registered is too late.

Wrong tyre on the slightly iffy looking front wheel too.

Otherwise, I think it's a spectacularly good replica, I studied it for quite some time before I got suspicious!

Windscreen rake and chrome finishers is off, the rear wing crease looks a little too angular, the fuel filler flap doesnt seem to be in the correct place at the top of the N/S rear wing, radio aerial in wrong place, rear wheel camber and spinners look odd, no horse on the front indicator lenses . . . . . . .

But it is a damn good copy of one and I'd be happy with it, if it was built on top of a 400i chassis rather than a Jag like the ones we've done with Southern Roadcraft bodies
