Two problems here. Firstly after having PowerDVD on my computer since i got it (about 6 months ago) the shortcut on my logitech keyboard worked (when i clicked on media and had the list eg. musicmatch wmp etc.) I tried it a few days ago and it no longer goes to PowerDVD - it now goes to windows explorer and the path: C:Program FilesLogitechiTouch

I installed a trial version of PowerDVD on the weekend and the shortcut worked, now i found my disk and re-installed it and the shortcut no longer works. Does anyone have any ideas?

I re-installed my logitech software as i thought this could be a part of my problem. I have now lost my settings for my mouse (web-wheel and double click button) i've done this before and configured my mouse but can't remember where to find the option. I've gone to control panel>mouse and clicked on it but found no option to configure it. Does anyone know where i can find this option?

Appreciate any help

Thanks Gary

Can't help specifically, but don't install the Wild Tangent games software that Logitech supply - it's spyware and gets everywhere. IMHO Logitech should know better.

XP pro. It's a very minor issue, probably not worth wasting my time on.

Gary, this my be teaching you to suck eggs.
Had a similar problems recently.
Have you tried going to the Itouch configuration window, and checking that your paths are correct for the various programs you want to default?

about the suck eggs comment.

I've looked at the Itouch configuration menu, but can see nothing for the media button or any of the links to it. I think i'll just put a shortcut on the desktop and leave it.

The suck eggs comment was in case, you had tried my suggestion before.
As it appears you now what your way around your PC!

You say your path at present goes to C:Program FilesLogitechiTouch

Can you not edit that path to redirect it back to where your powerDVD is?

Do you mean editing the path by going to the address bar and then just changing it to:

C:Program FilesCyberLinkPowerDVDPowerDVD.exe

I do that, but i have no way of saving it. It's a good idea, but do you know how i could progress from here?

Isnt there a configuration utility in the control panel or programs menu for the keyboard..

For The microsoft one you can assign any program to any of the shortcut keys.

There is but nothing where i can do anything in detail about the buttons, but logitech have their own configuration menu which i can't find anything about the media shortcuts. I could re-install the keyboard again - but i don't feel there will be much point as all the stuff on it works and when i un-installed PowerDVD the link disappeared, and on installation of PowerDVD it re-appeared but didn't work. Maybe i'll try and get hold of a newer version of PowerDVD as the latest seemed to be compatible.

It's not really worth wasting your time, it's only a very minor issue that can be solved with a shortcut on the desktop.
