Some of this had the hairs standing up on the back of my neck. Listen to some of the NASA communications with shuttles etc. Note the two Apollo 14 guys standing on the moon. "Well let's see......we've had visitors again" NASA "Yeah" Apollo 14 "hardly worth mentioning" NASA "Agreed".

as for the rest of it, it really could be anything from space junk burning up, to lightening storms viewed from space through cloud.

That said, I find it very hard to believe that we're the only form of intelligent life in the universe. I'm not convinced we've ever been visited here on Earth, but if we apply logic and probability, it seems somewhat unlikely that a planet as insignificant as our own is 'unique' in harbouring life. I suspect it's teeming with life out there; whether we have made any sort of 'contact' is the only thing I doubt.
