For the highest number of Ultima owners in one place without an Ultima being there? GTWayne and I did a track day at Oulton on Park friday and Steve.D, Highflyer, CanAm Dave & David Mcdonald came along too! We also bumped into J-K who was there doing some gardening!
Great to put some faces to some names. I called Russ by the wrong name all day until he corrected me
but did manage to spot the perfect number plate for him on an old Isuzu Trooper in the car park.
Had a great day chucking old Baggypuss around all day. He is transformed as a track hack and all the effort gone into the suspension & brakes was really worth it. Looking forward to Donnington in a couple of weeks.

It was good to meet you. Thanks to Wayne for my 75 mile passenger ride around Oulton. Good driving Wayne...considering I'm not a good passenger I loved it, especially that slightly hairy moment around Lodge on our 'cool down' lap. Got to get me a cheap track day car!

Cool down lap ??? I thought it was straight out at 100 mph and when you've had enough straight in at 100 mph.
Just had a brilliant 3 days with GTW, we did Ty Croes Anglesey on Thursday with a 5.30 am start, getting back home around 7.30 then straight out until 10.30 pm and Oulton Park Friday 6.30 start, and I am certain if GTW hadn't run out of slicks and petrol he would still be there now as he is a total track junkie. Good to meet everybody at OP my sides are still aching after laughing at you guys taking the p155 out of each other, a totally brilliant 3 days, thanks guys !

Yeah, many thanks to all concerned and especially Highflyler and his delightful lady, Julie, who both very kindly put me up for the duration and treated me like a Lord 
; don't forget the Revival meeting and the offer of accommodation 
I have to say, my time spent 'up country' was amongst some of the best times I have ever had in my life to date and I am looking to replicate the experience ASAP.

I know this thread is not called 'Wayne's World' but if any of you are interested I will be at Goodwood this Friday ( and maybe Saturday as well ) so if you are at a loose end then by all means come on down and have a grin

yes great right hander, just made for tailing it out.... the corner that got me was the next one(first right hander after the pit(if u r on int circuit)...... wow u have to have some b
ks to take that fast, but get it right and wow what a corner..great track and great fun....will be back again next year
