Wipered Out

Got up yesterday to clear blue skies and decided to go for a blast only to find the wipers and washers weren't working. Checked the fuse, it was blown. Replaced it but they still won't go.

Any ideas? (My dealers mechanics are still on holiday and whilst the rag and water bottle think works, it's just not the same. )

Hi,

I had the same thing happen to me this morning!!

I understand the wiper motors have a fuse blowing problem as my friends Tuscan S did the same thing recently and I spoke to my dealer this morning who confirmed this was a problem.

I suggest you check the fuse again as mine blew three in a row. I've replaced the standard 20amp with a 30amp as a temporary measure 'til the dealer can check/replace the motor (the dealer said this was ok in an emergency).

Thanks Paul. I've put a 25 in as TVR don't supply a 20! in the toolbox but they still don't work. (The new fuse hasn't blown) Guess I'll have to carry on with the rag and water if I want to drive it on NYD.
