Has anyone else seen this? I've watched it over the last week as I'm recovering from surgery and I have bugger all else to do.

It's amazing. Basically they go into someone's house (usually some mouth breather with 11 kids), strip it bare and then embark upon a 60 minute bodge-fest where they throw a truckload of Homebase's finest at the walls with absolutely no intention of doing a good job and replace every item in the house with a nice shiny new version.

The end result might impress a myopic mole for a second but a closer look reveals lumpy and wonky wallpaper, Lino laid onto bare floor and shoddily installed kitchen units which must fall off the wall the first time you try to fill them.

What's the point? Obviously it's just one great big advert for the companies who provide the new furniture etc... but i can just imagine some dumbass thinking "I know I'm gonna redecorate the lounge coz thats what they done on the telly" and ending up in casualty as he's tried to drink a cuppa while holding a power saw.

Oh well, time for my medication!

I watched one (only one I've seen) they did an ok job, hand made leather art work worth £350 each, a water feature worth £1,000!! etc. Looked like a decent batchelor pad though some things didn't work.

What horrified me is at the end when they noted that the cost of this 60 min makeover was £13,500!!! WTF

Not exactly everyones daily budget.
