I want to get a good quality pair of boots for this coming winter in Vienna. We get masses of snow, rain and a lot of salt on the roads so it plays havoc on my footwear.
I was thinking of getting a pair of Cat Colorado boots but what else can others recommend? They need to be comfy, warm (but not too warm!), and easy enough to drive with comfortably.

I've got a pair of these:

They have lasted so well I can't remember what model they are, or where I got them from!
They certainly are comfortable, warm when you need them to be, usually dry.. oh and they don't smell!
I can certainly vouch for the quality - however when I've taken them to ski resorts in the past they didnt seem to be very grippy despite having really chunky soles.

What about some US military Corcorans.
Got to be good with a name like that!
Not quite the same style as the Cat's or Timberlands......(I did I mention a little style is a bonus!!!) Got to be good with a name like that!

I'll have to use them in the office too and although I wear a pair of jeans and a shirt, some tactical boots will unlikely look so good!
