Looking for ideas. No-one seems to be doing much this coming weekend. It's the O/H's uncle's funeral Friday so I'm looking to do something nice with her over the rest of the weekend.

Don't want to spend loads i.e. more than £500 for the pair of us.

Suggestions please. (already taken her up the Oxo Tower so don't bother suggesting that wink)

Working probably. Forgot it was a BH and haven't booked it off (we lump Public Hols in with normal holiday allowance).

I am off to Dunsfold airshow, Red Arrows etc. Can't wait. Will leave you around £440 of your budget left and that includes Burgers.

24hr race but the £500 wouldn't even cover what the lighing kit has cost me eek let alone the 2 bikes, vans, and entry costs, but still I've never raced at night before (infact I only managed to get some night testing in for the first time last saturday) so it should be an experience

Attending a mate's wedding in Wiltshire, unfortunately all the local hotel's are booked out (we booked 6 months ago fortunately). Evidently 3 weddings are taking place, a tram festival, the start of the grouse shooting season and meeting of the merryweather fiddlers! Its gonna be messy! biggrin

Me too. I've been for the past 3 years and each time it gets better and better. I'll be exhibiting the old jalopy on the Seloc stand, so wander over and say hello.

I stupidly signed up to:

East Grinstead Saints and Sinners Tour 2009 (3rd or 4th year now) and I really need to look at not going and sorting out everything for my new job on the following tuesday.

I promised myself this year that it would not get messy... like thats going to happen!!

May not sound like a girlfriend friendly place but try Bisley shooting grounds to shoot some clay pigeons. I had a fantastic time there last sat. and a friend of mine went with his GF and she loved it!

Castle Combe has racing on the Monday.

Me and the Mrs are having a weekend away in Wiltshire before going on to the motorsport.

Saturday will be a walk around Inkpen and Walbury Hill/Combe Gibbet. Then on to the hotel. Sunday will be walking in Savernake Forest, Avebury, Silbury Hill, the oldbury White Horse lunch at the Waggon and Horses, swim in the pool a bit, then a nice dinner out.

Monday will be watching the cars go round and round and round in a circle.

Nice.
