Steve, I just replaced mine, I have a part number at work (it took a little tracking down), I'll wing it across to you in the morning, hope that's OK?

Mike.

Mike, could you put the details on Nobleparts? http://www.nobleparts.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=...
Would be nice to have the details there incase we need them in the future.
Thanks

You may have already done this, but after having problems with my altenator, we replaced the wiring and terminals, then positioned one of the venting tubes directly onto the altenator to help keep temp down....HTH

Phil,
I see you locked the Parts thread on NobleParts (and I can't access the Wiki either) so can you post up please?
Thanks

Sure thumbup

I can give you an account to edit it if you like. Only reason I didn't open it to all members is it's very easy to mess it up. Drop me a PM if you'd like edit rights.

The wiki is great. Not used them in the past but very easy to edit as I have put a few things on.

I'm not sure if the 2.5 alt is the same as the 3.0 but I put a list of about 5 part numbers for it on noble parts. Just use the jag 3.0 one.

When we get an idea if they've used different 2.5 and 3.0 alt's we can put the categories right. Until then let's just dump them all in one place.

Was it alternators you put up or starter motors?
