Anyone running an IS-F

Test driving an IS-F tomorrow with the thought of trading in my much loved 996.
The pros -it's got 4 doors (which I could do with for the school run), it's got lots of toys, it's not an M3,it's a year old, rather than 5 years old (which would be the 997 I'd be looking at), it's refined - but a hoot when you need it to (I hope).
The cons -it's not a Porsche.
I've been doing about 4 trackdays a year in the 996 - would the IS-F take it? If you read the sales brochure it's designed for the race-track (and if there was a quibble over a warranty claim I'd be quoting it to them).
Anyone got any experience of using and abusing??

I have to say I was really disappointed when I drove it. It was very quick - but you wouldn't know it - it was the classic you look at the speedo and you're doing 20mph faster than you thought you were - too refined, no sense of involvement - a great tool for going a to b but not a lot of involvement.
Plus having read the Lexus owner's forum discovered the problems with the extra soft brake pads spewing dust out the vents down both front and rear doors pitting the paintwork - and yes this one year old, 11,000 mile one had significant damage to the paintwork on all the doors.

Noise is nice, but wasn't as raucous as I was expecting - no louder than mine - and it sounds quite distant - probably sounds good from outside.
It is a mean looking thing - and very rare, you probably won't see another - only 150 imported last year, and none scheduled for this. On the owners forum people seemed to be saying they averaged only 15mpg - but the mags seem to be getting better than that.
