400se headlights

Hi
What are the 400se square headlights from?
i thought they were from a Metro, but after buying what i thought were the correct ones they are too big? The earliest ones are rectangular and have the indicator built in to the side of the unit, the ones i bought (85-90)are the right shape but are too big and the '90 onwards (rover) are a different shape?

Well, I reckon they're the old Lucas type sealed beams that I used to have on my Hillman Avenger. I was always replacing them at the vast cost of £2.50 in 1972 (possibly Allegro 1100 too)....people keep saying they're Metro.

I'd go to a classic car show and measure some....nice day out too.
