I'd let you all know, I'm off to France in the Lotus tomorrow.

Portsmouth-Saint Malo, taking in the Millau bridge, or viaduct if you prefer, and then a drive east to west through the Pyrenees, ending up in Biarritz, and back on the Santander/Portsmouth ferry.

One car, four bikes, should be interesting.
