What's everyones opinions? Recommendations?

Our existing door has failed, so I am now in the market for a new double oven/grill 600mm freestanding cooker.

Any brands better then others?

Budget, for a reasonable one say around £800?

Whilst they make good washing machines, don't bother with H***point ovens, cooker hoods, etc. they're crap, a view expressed by the HP engineer who came to mend both, on separate callouts at 65 quid a pop, 'cos their compooter could not log two faults on one visitsmile

Think you'll find most hotpoint output is crap, you just lucked out with the washer...

OP: if in budget miele is damn good, and worth a stretch if it's for the long term. My sis has a 15 year old gaggenau oven I yoiked off a job for her; she didn't bother with the new bosch she wanted as she says it's the best oven she's ever cooked on, and it'll probably outlast the neff the dippy mare of a donor had fitted in it's place. Don't bother looking at prices though....
