Best PC Racing game?

I'm looking for a game in the same vein as Gran Turismo or Forza 2 but for the PC.
I've been looking for ages but nothing seems to jump out at me. Can anybody recommend a game that fits, that I may have overlooked?

I can't believe they haven't ported Forza over to the PC yet, bds!
