....now neatly installed and working! and looks pretty damn good even if i say so myself!! :smuglook:
Took a few hours, old lights came out reasonably easily once i'd found the retaining screws and carefully scraped away enough glue/silcon. Wiring easy after the first one out of the way, oh and u need an extra foot if possible to press the brake pedal to workout the brake lights wires!...Thanks to Dave (Davetherave1970), for the use of his!

now wheres that collection tin gone so i can get a whip going for the dosh to do the headlamp conversion

Photos tomorrow im afraid got a little dark to come out clearly...(and yes i know before anyone says anything about putting lights on cos its dark!)...but well pleased with results!...painted pods as well before fitting, so all matches nicely.

Regarding charging lead.....was there all the time!...although it was well hidden away!...(took the mechanic 10 mins to remember where he'd tucked it away!!)...up behind the relays in the boot!

Sorted the problem with the coolant yet?

editted for cost!!....£289 + vat for lights and a couple of tins of spray to paint em....

still a regular little pool under the car in various places. Cured the original leak, but seemed to have developed the next one. Still driving the car though.

Not sure about putting the plug in the boot though. I assume he hasn't wired it all the way to the battery so if you develop resistance in the 'car wires' the voltage on your charger will rise.

I think I'll opt for the from battery to front number plate. I like the idea of reversing out of the garage without having to unplug it in the cold mornings.
