I thought that was a misprint!
Did a 4,800 miles (not 48k) car really sell for 14,500?
Is the lucky new owner a PH'er?

Don't know if they're a PHer but they're definitely a LFer.

@ 48,000 miles it would have been worth a sniff, but the add seems to confirm 4800 miles (weekend car etc, etc)

i couldn't believe it i responded 6hrs of ad being placed but still too late, was in my area as well!
Think 2k below is a bit of an under-statement.
It sounded gorgeous, ....one lucky buyer.

if the LFer can move that quick before he bought the car, there be no stopping him now!

Could be a bargain, but at such low mileage the buyer might be in for some serious expenses. I have seen it before and I am sure that we will see it again - stick to examples that have been consistently and continuously used over their lifetime and they will be MUCH more reliable than ones that havent.

If its a cracker then its a bargain, otherwise its a potential resale nightmare....

For that price it could have been driven in to any TVR dealer and sold with no bother at all. Anyone placing the advert would have known it was too cheap. I would have been concerned if I was checking it out for someone.

perhaps this advert was changed to SOLD when the owner realised his BIG mistake!

i remember considering a '97 500 up in scarborough for £12950 that had been CAT D write off / repaired it looked well done , but reselling can be a bugger eh..

some one is either very lucky or that car will reappear at the right price!!!
