A right wind up

Went to Devon for the weekend and some phucker threw a bottle over the wall of the hotel and guess which car it hit? Yeh, mine. Damage to roof and door of which I'd only had resprayed after some other phuckers damage 6 weeks ago.
Also, my drivers door electric window motor has given up [in the rain].
Can some kind soul tell me what they are and where I can get one? thanks.

Motors seldom go,its usually the wiring.undo the speaker to gain access to the motor,run a direct feed to the motor and check.its probably the wire bundle that runs between the bodywork and the door,fiddle with it whilst using the window switch.check fueses,i have fitted Steve Heaths light up fuses so i can see at a distance which fuse has gone not that i have seen them work yet,no broken fuses.also swap over window switchs and check.

i should have said run a direct feed from the battery..

Good luck with it bloke...won't be the fuse as we checked that saturday night...bad wire feed is a good point to start tho

Looks like motor ok as it started to work again then stopped again then works if I don't wind right down so I can give it a tug to come up

Also check door ecu. This is at front of passenger footwell (I think it does both sides). This area can get damp. Try drying this off and see if that solves the problem
