What other type of car does the distributor cap come from. Mine's a 1990 carb turbo. It's a Lucas one on at the mo but is damaged.
I need to pick one up from my local factors tommorrow morning and PNM are shut until next week.
I have cross referenced part numbers but they appear to be US motor factors. I need a UK equivalent please
Distributor cap Borg Warner - c 567
Distributor cap Standard LU 430
Distributor cap World Parts W32-192
Distributor cap Beck Arnley 174-0257
Distributor cap Niehoff WA 447

Does anyone recognise any of these?

Cheers,

Thanks Jim. I knew you'd come through. Sorry to sound a bit dim, I've had a couple of bottles of wine but does this mean after 76?

Iam going to regret this in the morning. Hope not too many people read this post.

Cheers,

Dave

Jim,

just had some good conversations with my local motor factors.
An MGB <76 is for upto my83 Esprit with contacts.
Mine, which is a my1990 is an Austin Maestro (a really crap car).
I managed to get one today thanks to you. It got the motor factors off their backsides for once. I picked it up about 1/2 hour before they closed early for new year.
In the end, I found out it was all 4 of my plugs had gone. They were only 5 months old! Put new ones in and it fired up straight away.
Iam going to put another post about the plugs as the others were Densos. I will have to go with my tail between my legs on this one.

Thanks Jim and have a happy new year.

Cheers,
