Good write up , sounds like a beast and the look is starting to appeal to me , would i spend £200 grand on one ..........No......at the moment i get more than enough fun from my GT03 and it cost a st load less !! still sounds like a great car though .

In truth if i wanted a M600 supercar i would build a LS7 engined Ultima with all the bells a whistles .

Arash's AF-10 Enzo clone shows what they're up against.

Especially if the stated £172k price is final.

And that's got a steel and carbon chassis with a carbon fibre body, not just a steel tub.

Throw into the mix the AF-10S and it's getting quite a crowded market for me to spend around £200k with biggrin

Hey Justin, Come here and spend £140K with me and I'll make yours faster than the M600.
£40K is for the work we do, £100K on top is for...... Errrrrr.......... The same reason that Noble want an extra £100K for the M600. wink

Hmm....

You know I'd have to get a competitive quote from Mountune first though wink

And they will also, I assume, offer me the equestrian styling pack....

That is a truly amazing bit of kit in the flesh. Makes the M600 look cheap though!

Evo article mentions three ECU settings...

Noble M600 supercar By Stephen Dobie, August 2009

"Noble’s new M600 supercar has been revealed in production-spec glory. On the whole, the looks are as expected – the cars that have been spotted testing have been light on disguise, taking any shock out of the styling."

"The real surprises come from the price and performance. There’s a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 (sourced from Volvo, with Garrett ‘chargers) that serves up 650bhp, which combined with the 1275kg kerb weight ensures a very healthy 518bhp/ton."

"There’s even a choice of three ECU settings, allowing you to choose between 450, 550 and the full 650 horsepower. Of course, you’ll want the highest setting, which also unleashes 604lb ft of torque and helps push you towards a fairly staggering 225mph, with 0-60mph taking 3sec. Proper supercar stuff, then."

"And there’s a proper supercar price to back it up, too – the M600 is expected to weigh in at around £200,000 when sales begin next year. You do get some nice touches, though – toggle switches inside, a Ferrari Manettino-style car settings switch and alloy wheels similar to the Lamborghini Murcielago. Unlike its Italian foes, though, the Noble will be reasonably hardcore in nature – there’s no ESP or anti-lock brakes and gearbox options are limited to a six-speed manual only."

"The Noble M600 gets is public reveal at the Goodwood Revival in September. Keep an eye on evo.co.uk for the latest on this rather extraordinary British supercar."

Autocar gives how they do it.

It modfies the wastegate release pressure. Autocar gives the specific bar figures (and I'm sure Mike will be along soon on his take of those biggrin)

Wastegate pressure controls boost levels. I haven't read the article, is that in this weeks Autocar?
