Did anyone see chuck last night on Virgin 1? They had a 3D episode and recommended getting hold of a pair of 3D glasses to watch it. Unfortunately I was too late to grab a pair of the glasses. Anyone know where I can still get hold of a pair? I have looked at eb@y and Virgin website to no avail.

Cheers

There was a page on the Freeview website saying that one of the dreadful TV listings magazine would have a pair in a recent issue, might be worth checking out your local newsagent.

Assuming the 3D hasn't been reformated, you could get some glasses from when it was originally shown in the US:

There's no thread about Chuck..

...but I've just picked up on it, got both series and working my way through - how did I miss this? Its actually delayed my Dexter series 2 marathon (slow on that too).

The plot wont win any awards, but fantastic and very likable characters, doesn't take itself too seriously and on the whole is very watchable. Adam Baldwin is brilliant in it, but its got a plethora of eye candy in the form of Yvonne Strahovski and the better known Jordana Brewster.

I watched it with my son's 3D glasses, but it didn't work at all watching on Sky, although the picture looked a little bit funny.

I'm assuming Sky broadcast in normal format. 3D never seems to work for me as I suffer from myopia.

Am I the only person not looking forward to broadcasts in 3D for that reason?

IIRC they weren't normal 3D glasses colours used, I think they were Amber/Blue rather than the usual Red/Blue, so unless you used the glasses provided on some TV Guides, it wont have looked right wink

This type of 3D is nothing but a gimmick. They're working on TV's which have 3D effects without glasses, but IIRC they only currently work if you look at them from the correct angle.

I'm waiting on holographics myself wink
