Just got the new year's edition and I must say it's the most professional and best I've seen in 4 years membership so far.

Made me proud to skim though it (haven't even read it yet - postie still walking away up the drive).

What a better way to end the year?

Very impressed, the best yet, I especially like the Oulton Park article with a fantastic picture of a green V8 M series

I agree, this is the best copy of Sprint I have ever seen - there seems to be more copy than adverts for a change. And what's more, its early! Infact, it came the year before the cover date .

Well done to the production team - top marks.

Sprint on the doormat before the start of the month - this must be a record ! Great effort on the part of the editorial team.

Pity to read about the inability to print reader's technical suggestions after receiving legal advice, in case someone sues the club - a sad reflection of today's society

There is a distinction that needs to be made about the printing of technical articles.

If a member writes in and says "this is how I did it"
(along the lines of Ian Massey-Cross's superb restoration articles on the Le Mans Grantura), then this is fine.

If however the Club or any of it officers or members writes in and says "this is how to do it" and offers a step by step guide", then this is vastly different from a legal standpoint.

So don't hold back if your are thinking of sending an article to Derek in the former style but please
avoid the latter.

Glad that the new Sprint appears to have hit the spot.

Tony's hard work on Sprint over the last few years was always going to be a tough act to follow, but you have done a great job.
