Had a strange number call -scam?

I just had an incoming call [phone]

No idea who it was & heard about a phone scam the other day so cancelled the call.
I'm not awaiting any calls & they did'nt leave a VM or try calling back again.

Anyone know anything about it or where the call originated from?

It's a US number.

We get lots of calls from recorded messages and some of these come from America.

You can't get scammed by answering the call, just put it down again if it's not worth listening too!
