injector flow rate
Discussion
Thanks, will need to look again
Currently trying to set up the ms basic settings now I can talk to it again
Nearly got the spare loom ready just a few minor issues like powering it up and feeding the fuel pump
Just waiting for trigger wheel and sensor to arrive as my MS won't work without it as been adapted.
Will probably try just replacing the ecu with ms and get it running on fuel with current flapper type jag injectors and then get the sparks working, then move over to hot wire injection to remove flapper power pack
Trying to use the original type wiring loom for tidyness as well, but will probably make one up for when I use the hot wire injectors !
So should be a fun couple of weeks in September

The 14CUX/hotwire system on my 4.0 used the D1830GA 0951 "green band" injectors which are rated at 185cc/min at 36PSI.
If you're replacing the whole fuel/injection system it would be worth considering a new engine loom. It's not that hard to do from scratch (few hours work once you have all the parts) and means you can avoid all the problems associated with old brittle wiring and corroded connectors. You'll have to check the characteristics of your current injectors but as far as I understand it they're the low impedance type which means you will probably need a resistive supply for them anyway.
