Question for BIB's re Crash Helmets

Someone told me over Christmas that police patrol cars are not allowed to persue a motorcyclist if they're not wearing a crash helmet? Is this correct or has the other one got bells on?

Its just that I was thinking of doing a bank job and thought this would make an ideal escape plan......

We pursue them, but will use common sense.
Ie, not ram them, and not use stinger.

Most do the bank wearing a crash melmet, then escape in a car. Why do you want to be different?

How CAN you stop someone on a bike without ramming them? Ask them Politely to stop ?

Serious Question. How would you go about doing it.
