Is there any database which on supply of the Reg Number can tell you the additional options list that was put on an M car ?

You used to be able to get this info by e-mail, but no more...

Pop into your local dealer, and have a word with the chap on the parts desk - it helps if you're buying something (even if only a litre of oil) but they've always printed the spec sheet off for me.

Pop in when it's quiet as he'll more than likely be happy to chat to an enthusiast, however may not have time to "mess about" with your enquiry on a busy saturday morning.

I was reading the options list on my car from the computer at BMW when they had the fob in the machine.

They can print this off. How new is this M?
