Chargecooler Question, With a Slight Twist

Morning All.

Just out of interest does anyone know just how strong the Behr chargecooler cores are? I use a slightly modified version (exit end tank rotated 180 degrees) on Saab C900 T16's as a replacement for the standard intercooler.

A couple of the cars run around 1.5bar of boost. I'm building a new engine at the moment which will be running 1.8 - 2bar of the boost for sustained periods, rather than break a chargecooler just to find out I was wondering if anyone knew what they were orignaly tested to.

It's marginal. A lot of people use a larger intercooler. I recall Sanj having one in his car that looked custom made. I think Marcus from PUK sells them.
