Front indicator lens (again)
Discussion
It's been smashed (again) in the same place. Totally destroyed this time by a garage I got to MOT the car about 5 weeks ago - I can't prove it was them as they sellotaped the whole thing back together and it must have taken ages. I didn't see it when I did my inspection. The reflective plastic bit the lens is attached to is also broken and won't take the screws into the body work properly. I had BMW 3 series lenses on but where can I get the relflective holder bit? Will the BMW entire parts just fit on?

Ha! Tell me about the bad luck Mark...I've been thinking the car was cursed - seriously. Hopefully the little beast will be cured when I pick her up today and I should have a fantastic example of an S. It really doesn't help being in London where people don't have the same respect for one another like other places in the UK. No one gives two hoots about reversing into your car and then driving off without leaving their details etc etc
Thanks for the help guys

Hi Pierce
I too have one goosed indicator lens and am after a replacement... I have previously been offered a broken one to salvage by the good people on this forum... I'm sure there will be someone out there who has fitted one of the new(made from gold ?)or alternatives recently who has the old one's reflector still in tact that they could give/sell you so you can effect your repair...
I'm still after one too guys - a broken flange is OK for me as I intend to grind off the flanges anyway. I will pay a sensible price and any postage of course... sort Pierce out first though as mine is still road legal at the minute...
