Hi chaps.
Well, I've had the Boxster S about a week. It's a 2001 Y-reg car.
There is load of wind noise coming from around the driver's side wing mirror and A-pillar. It isn't there on the passenger's side at all. I figure there must be a faulty window seal. Is this a common problem? Has it happened to anyone else? Is my Porsche warranty likely to cover it?
Cheers,
John.

Usually requieres the door window (trim panel off I think) and roof to be adjusted. Seeing as you bought the car from an OPC you should give them a call and get them to sort it out. If you bought the car from an OPC that is very far away then they might arrange for a local one to look after you and settle the bill. The other reason you might be getting it is the seal behind the mirror housing is leaking. You can look at this by taking off the electric mirror adjuster and going for a drive. If the noise is more prominent then there is you answer.

Looks like you got the car for a good price by the way...

Hi Kamal,
I got the car from the Swindon OPC (Dick Lovett).......I actually hadn't seen the car when I paid my deposit!
Anyway....I'll nip down to my local OPC (Newcastle) and ask them to sort it.
On the price front......thanks....I too thought 29K was good.
