My dad was given this as a gift today, apparently from Kuwait
Not entirely sure why! It's got a stamped guarantee card from July this year so it's obviously not an old watch. Looks like it's a 'Sowar Prima' which seems to share it's name with some of the older watches

I've read a bit about them, but haven't found a great deal of information on them

Here's a couple of pics





Does anyone have one, or know what it might be worth ( guessing not too much! )

Not that much I'm afraid - as you correctly guessed. IIRC some of them had Longines movements in them.

Yeah didn't expect it to be worth much really, more interested in some more info about them
Apparently the guy bought one for himself, and this one as a gift - very popular in India/China by the sounds of it

It seems they've been around since 1886 and done some interesting things, mainly in the East...
