September Scottish Trip
Discussion
I've just posted on the Events Forum, but I thought fellow TVR owners might be interested.
I and several PH’ers are organisng a Tour of Scotland from the 11th to 14th September. However, we now have a few spaces have suddenly become available. The tour is a not for profit trip and you don’t pay us anything, just pay for your own hotel rooms directly to each hotel.
So far we have the following cars:
2 TVR Cerbera's
Sagaris
Vanquish
Gallardo
Audi RS4
Cayman S
The tour is ideal for couples and single drivers – the crows so far is a great bunch. The tour concept is 3 hours of great driving in the morning, lunch followed by around 2 hours of driving in the afternoon. We intend to stop at a few tourist stops and including a seal sight seeing trip. We should be at the hotels by 4.30 to 5pm.
This tour provides 5 days of the very best roads that Scotland has to offer and not only will you drive some famous Glens and Lochs, you will also visit some less well known, but equally impressive routes thanks to the extensive local knowledge by some of the drivers.
We are starting in Dumfries, and travelling via Oban, Plockton, Loch Ness, Fort William and finish at a fantastic hotel by Loch Lomond.
During the 5 days you will drive some challenging and exciting roads with breathtaking scenery and light traffic (kids will have just gone back to School).
When you have finished driving, you can relax in comfort at our great selection of hotels accommodation with both breakfast and dinner included every night throughout the entire tour. The cars will be securely parked at every venue due to the remote locations.
Places will be limited to 10 rooms / Cars. As you can appreciate we can only hold room booking for a few more days so you’ll need to move fast!
Please let either John or myself know in the next few days if your interested. We estimate the hotels will cost around £450 for a couple and the single rooms a little cheaper.
I promise you a great trip and you’ll make some great life long friends.
Please post or PM of you're interested.
