Going to this event on Sunday, Our first time, Wife, boy(5) amd myself. Is there anything I should know about this event to make the day better? Any advice welcome.
Bring wellies if it's been raining, most of the viewing areas are on quite deep grass, oh and don't go and see Harsh, come and look at the nice shiny Ferraris in the CS display
Top day out!
Take comfy picnic chairs or a blanket and park yourself on the flightline. Take a picnic (especially drinks) but the bacon butties are very good! Binoculars can be fun but definitely take a camera. Steve_T and I are taking our Cerbera down the runway with a Chimaera and a Griff (stunning purple). The Surrey TVR mob have a 20 car static display so come over and say hello. The air displays are awesome so fingers crossed for a high cloud base so that the Battle of Britain Display, Red Arrows and possibly the Vulcan can do their thing.
Take sun lotion as we all got burnt last year :0) I'm not joking!

Many thanks for the advice, looks like a stunning day out and i'm sure the boy is going to love it. We will defo visit all the club stands, be great to see the TVR's up the strip, (thanks for the photos Mrs T) weather is looking great too. See you there, alas in the Audi, the TVR will have to stay at home.

What's the parking like? Grass or hard-standing - it'll dictate whether I bring the Sagaris or the Corrado.
Hi Jon, Agree with the parking situation plus arrive early and stay late. You'll just end up sitting in traffic if you follow the crowd. It's great to see all the planes leaving after the show too so bring a picnic chair, camera, etc and enjoy the day.

Unfortunately not. Discounted tickets (50% off) were available through me earlier in the year but the deadline was the 3rd of July. Discounted tickets (£16 instead of £20 on the day) can still be purchased from Dunsfold estate office and Brooklands museum today and tomorrow. All the funds go to charity so it's up to you. It's good value for what you get to see; the action on the runway and in the air never stops. There is truly something for everyone. Hope this helps.

So what time does it start? So I know what to aim for.
Still undecided between the Sagaris and the Corrado. It'll be a whole world less worry about ground clearance with the Corrado.
I can only comment on last year. It had been raining early morning and the grass was soaking, We had our cars on static display but the cars were directed to park on the grass, the grass was quite long and the side sills of the Viper made a nice job of ploughing the field Still undecided between the Sagaris and the Corrado. It'll be a whole world less worry about ground clearance with the Corrado.
There was also an early mini (Austin) in the field when it came time to leave he slowly drove over the metal ramps the marshals had put down and ripped off his entire exhaust system! So to answer your question and if its your first time here I would take the Corrado to be on the safe side
