Hey,

Have owned the Focus for a few months and its got an annoying knocking noise when you are moving along. It seems to be coming from the drivers side as I can't hear it when someone else is driving.

It only seems to happen at low speeds, and it IS when you go over small bumps in the road or swerve the wheel from side to side.

I was told it's probably the anti-roll bar links, so I changed both of them. It didnt help.

Has anyone got any ideas? smile

Thankyou

Might be the rubber suspension arm bushes have gone, have them checked out.

maybe a cv joint or driveshaft worn.

If it isn't the suspension bushes then you might have a broken spring. Either way, if you are asking on here then you probably can't mend it yourself anyway and should take it to your local trusted independent to get them to have a look at it. None of the above are especially expensive or difficult to sort.

Is it defo the drivers side? They're renowned for the intercooler bushes perishing and the intercooler box knocks on the fuse box.
