Go on then... thinking about doing it at home, just with a handpull pump on it and a couple of optics etc beer Is this gonna make me look like a lord of gayness or a council house chav? Or can they be done quite cooly? scratchchin

better in the man room aka shed than in the lounge.

If you can plumb in a urinal into man room as well as sky tv then there is no need to leave...

Depends on your settings?

If in the same room with your snooker table, on the far wall, with bar stools, wood flooring and a 15ft oak bar with full operational tap and co2 cylinder, with 6 optics on the wall - then no it will be sweet wink

Would you have a similar set up as Del boy ?

Just do it anyway.. Ideally you would just need a fridge/cooler next to your favourite armchair in front of the tv smile so you don't need to move

Consider it only if you own 2 or more of the above.

A home bar is a bit naff. By "a bit naff", I mean "very fking naff."

Why can't you just keep it in a cupboard or the fridge like other people with taste?

One of my friends has a proper 'bar' in his house. Its on the side of the house as an extension. He has a few sofas, a big TV and some games consoles in there as well as a full on working bar.

He even has a sign on the wall inside the house 'The Green Dragon'.

rofl

In a dedicated games room in the east wing, or an actual pub like Jay Kay has, it might work.

Stuck in the corner of your living room? Chav.

Think it might be a bit naff in the living room, especially if it's not a large space.

However can be good if done properly...

Only works if you can have a snooker or pool table in the same room.

There are a set of plywood shutters that bolt in place from inside and a hefty padlock on the lower door. Those pictures were taken 3 years ago, the bottles on the shelf are 2 deep now. hehe
