What a great evening, some awsome cars and freindly people. But did anyone take any pic's or footage of the evening.

I was wondering the same. Saw one of the marshals (at Bank) taking photos!

was that you in the White skyline? If so did you sort the temp out?

I was in the 2-11, other than when I let my friend have a go. He drove it like he drives his go kart! Luckily it's a robust little runner.

Hi gav never got to look at the motor as you were on the track when I was in the pits, what do you think of the 2-11? I've still not seen one close up!

I've had a mk1 Elise, a Caterham Superlight R, a mk2 Exige and currently also run a CSL. The 2-eleven is the most capable track car I've ever driven. Just incredible poise, brakes, steering and speed. And, so far, cheap to run and quiet.

Other than Radicals or decent cars on slicks, if the car is driven properly (i.e. probably not by me!), there is little out there to touch it.

Strange thing is it's so good you kind of get bored of it's abilities, if that makes sense! And, I find I don't use it enough off the track. I would probably use a new Caterham R300, with a windscreen, more.

The white skyline is mine, I could only do up to six laps before the temp started flashing like soho. The water topped out twice and the oil joined in at the end,so I need an oil cooler and a big arse alloy radiator and I could do with some bigger brakes as on one lap I tried braking from 130ish at the end of the strieght and all that happened was later rectified with the washing machine.
This was my first track day and I loved it,I was stting myself incase the engine went bang or someone slammed into me.
Ps was I the only one to run out of fuel which stopped me from joining in all the spinning near the end!

Hi all,
I was in the Clio 197 Cup. Could also only do about 5 or 6 laps before the brakes started overheating! If my other half lets me loose on track with it again, gonna have to do something with those brakes! smile

I took a few pics. I was driving a Silver Impreza in which I spent as much time cooling the brakes as using them, upgraded pads and fluid next time!
