The Downs and Ups of ownership.....
Discussion
Soooo...... about a month ago some friends came over to visit and during part of the stay the 9-year-old Rhys asked if he could be taken out in the Cerb. It was, of course, a pleasure to compl yand, after a few minutes of oohhhs and ahhhs there was a pregnant pause after which Rhys enquired "Wgy didn't you buy a Porsche ? They're much nicer"
You can imagine what I felt like......
We have some 'good' friends staying with us at the mo' and, yet again, the request from Jack(14) and Ben(11) came to take a trip.
Now, thanks to their parents' excellent educational program, they've both been taken out in a variety of performace vehicles in their upbringing and the widest smile I've ever sported arrived on my face when they agreed "Yeah, the Lanborghini is nice but not as much of a thrill as this".

Met a guy at a mates wedding last weekend who was drooling over my cerb telling me he had dreamt of having one since they first came out, asking all the usual owner questions, how much to run etc. Eventually thought I'd best take him for a spin, he was very excited so I let him fire her up " oh there's a lot of vibration" " she's gotta warm up for a while mate this is a tvr!" Took him for a relatively rapid drive, got back and he says "mmm reminds me of an MGB!"
He certainly had his up and down moment!
