We'll be there in the TVR Car Club area, anyone else going?

I'll be going....I'll only be in my rather modest S2 though. I usually go to the one in May, and it's normally a really good turnout, so I'm hoping the August one is too. I'll drop in and say hello.

Cheers

Great show today. The weather was good after a cloudy start. Loads of excellent cars on show and we got 42 TVRs on our display area which was fantastic.

It was a South Yorks & East Mids 'co-production' so it's at least half Kev's work.

Not seen you for a bit Dave, hope things are good with you.

Ha ha, no worries Kevin. As an organiser you must get this regularly.

A bit of feedback for the event organisers, in case they look in.
We were a tad disappointed with the time everyone seemed to be clearing off considering it was a 1 day event.
We left around 3:30 because of the great big Wizard Of Oz type cloud heading in our direction, but even by then we guessed 50% of the cars and stands too had already left so we didn't feel like we were going to miss much.

We should have got there earlier than 12:15 I suppose but for a 1 day event I'd expect the bulk of the people and all of the stands to be there until 4 at least.

The TVR stand was still there, loud and proud, when we left I hasten to add thumbup

Possibly because some of us are so sad....err...sorry I mean, into cars we didn't have anything better to do wink

Thoresby always seems to end earlier than I'd like i.e 3pm instead of 4pm but I think the big cloud scared a few people and caused them to leave early. In the end it only rained for about 30 seconds.

The trouble with Thoresby is when you arrive at 10:00 by 3:00 it feels like it has been quite a long day. Long enough for a fair few leisurely laps of the show.
