Hardly impartial. They played the emotional card again by having a woman on line who had a relative killed etc. Then Transport 2000 against ABD and Vine let the transport 2000 woman have the last word. So 2 against one.

Oversimplistic journalism as usual.

We're all debating the wrong issue - it's mental.

I heard most/some of that discussion whilst out driving. Made my blood boil.

YOU ARE ALL WANTING THE SAME THING! SAFER ROADS!

Why can't the lenilists realise that education/engineering rather than enforcement is the best long term solution?

By the way, what if young child killed by speeding motorbike had a)used the green x-code? b)used an approved crossing place? Would the accident have happened?

Speeding this, speeding that! Over 100,000 less convictions for dangerous driving! Now that is worrying, it ain't because the standard of driving is improving. It is because rational human beings that can think for themselves are being replaced by machines capable of measuring only one parameter. Still, they do bring in massive revenue for the gov't. Spooky that!

Paul.
