Im not sue. Yes he is right in the fact F1 needs to do more to add to the excitement but he ideas sound very much like loosing what F1 is about.

Change qualification, why...I think thats fine at last. Shorter races, please no! This is definitely a major part of grand prix racing, hence the name. If you cant concentrate for that long then go watch plenty of other race series.

Perhaps I'm with you there. Whilst it seems to me to be very articificial at the moment with variations in fuel load, when FI is on pole, got to say it has its attractions.

He is talking a lot of sense there, which probably comes from his background as a businessman rather than being a team leader. It is important to put on a good show - at the end of the day that is what people watch for. Those of us that do understand and enjoy the politics (as much as anyone can) and much of the technical element are almost certainly a small minority, especially of the potential audience. F1 needs to be more open and available.

Flav is right about needing to be in the US, but I also disagree about about changing qualifying as with the ban on refuelling next year the current format should be excellent, and the races should not be any shorter.
