On other threads, I've read about owners throwing their G-shocks against walls and freezing them. What's the most punishing thing you've done to yours?

I take my G-shock "cockpit diver" climbing so it gets dragged across rock and smacked by dangling bits of metal (quickdraws). The case and bracelet are not in a pristine state as you can imagine although the glass is still perfect, surprisingly.

Also, when a friend's son asked, "Why does your watch look like that?" I replied, "So I can do this..." and whacked the table with it. thumbup

On their US adverts they showed them being used as a hockey puck being belted into the goal. A US watchdog type programme replicated it to show what nonesense it was and discovered that the watches were actually fine after the treatment....

I have been known to, sometimes with just 2 or 3 fingers. Sometimes, I don't even fall off.

No, I wasn't into Gs before but I don't think the other watches I have can take the abuse this one has put up with, even if they look more aesthetically pleasing/pretty/nice. If you're always in a suit at work or comfy slippers in front of the TV at home, then they seem pretty pointless if you don't like the look. I like what Gs represent. smile

That said, if you like to play watch conkers at home...

Brilliant.

What I wanna know is could I drive over one and still use it afterwards?
