Gallardo stalling problem
Discussion
Anyone have any ideas why my 2004, 22K miles manual Gallardo may be stalling? The tick over is normally 1000rpm and pretty stable. Happens on hot or cold engine. Sometimes when you dip the clutch it just stalls, if you make sure the revs drop down real slow by driving it really cautiously it does not do it but dip the clutch with any revs on and it may stall. Tends to hunt a bit too when you dip the clutch.
So far it's foxed my local specialist who suspected an earth fault (which it was not), as its not giving any fault codes when plugged into the diagnostics.
Someone suggested an ICU reset, but does anyone have any ideas/ had a similar problem?
Oh and the throttle bodies have also been cleaned up so it would not be that.
I know my local specialist would be grateful for any suggestions to get to the bottom of this.
Thanks.

Not personally had that problem, I would have said throttle bodies but you have already ruled that one out, sorry I can't help.So far it's foxed my local specialist who suspected an earth fault (which it was not), as its not giving any fault codes when plugged into the diagnostics.

Had this on my 04 Gallardo too.. always thought it was quite hard to get a smooth but slow getaway, had it all checked out and was a little better with the throttle bodies done but still not as i expected.. and sods law when they do stall they take a good few turns and a couple of splutters to get going again! Not my old one is it? :-)
