Piss boiling time I think. Personal rant to vent because I can't get hold of the little b
ds.
My 16 year old nephew and his 15 year old girlfriend produced a baby. Social services and the family rallied around and set her up in a council house, furniture and him with a decent labouring job earning £200 a week by calling in a family favour. Officially he continued living with his mother ( I guess for her to get the council house with housing benefits).
Over the past 5 years they have both basically pissed and smoked their benefits and his wages up the wall, while the family have bought the kids clothes, done the baysitting while they get pissed and bailed them out at every turn. He has been banned from all the local pubs for bad behaviour and she spends all day in bed or with her mates while the housework etc gets left. I don't know how housing benefits work these days but somehow, last week and again without telling anyone they were evicted for rent arrears. Social services to the rescue and she is is a social services contracted B&B with the little one with an offer of a new house before school starts (ora a taxi to take hjer and the little one to the new school). He is sleeping on a mate's sofa.
Thing is, over the past month when I would have been going frantic that I was about to be evicted and homeless with a 4 year old I have watched her boasting on Facebook about how pissed she was, how she is eating out every night (she goes to the local cafe everyday for breakfast) and how she 'has only 6 days to the big day' which I assumed was some announcemnet or new job but it turns out was her eviction. Yesterday she was stil posting details of her eating out and getting pissed on facebook.
Family or not, we should have a cull.
I feel sorry for the little one with such selfish inept parents.

It's sad but I am afraid there are plenty of people like that in this country.
The thing is his older brother is the complete opposite. He, as you might imagine is livid. I honestly think these people are not fit to have kids, partly because they are still kids themselves.Four Cofffee said:

Of course, getting a house for free may be a driving force, but is it worth it? I think not.

I hear her mother has been on the verge of reporting her daughter for neglect several times because of her drinking in the day. Sadly she chose to break contact which was one less bit of support and one less pair of eyes. Sounds like they are just too young for that kind of responsibility.
Do you have regular contact with the kid? Show him proper love and attention?
My Ex girlfriend lived in a shared house with a couple of scrotes like this, girl trying to get pregnant so she could get a house, the bloke already had two kids, a domestic abuse conviction and a driving ban.
And my ex wondered why I refused to ackowledge them and referred to them only as 'scum'.

Sometimes i wish i never watched posts on facebook. Similar position in my extended family, one has already produced two children while the other half has frankly a long way to go before he proves his worth as a human being to me. Now her younger sister is pregnant and displays a mental age of 9, going by her facebook activity. Meanwhile my son and his wife act as auntie and uncle to these children with all the care and diligence you would expect whilst being unable to produce their own offspring. Piss boiler? you better believe it....

She is on Facebook again this morning, recovering from a binge last night. Ins some respects it could be her downfall as any one of her 700+ 'friends' have the evidence for SS to show she is drunk most nights. Including me.Edited by v64paul on Sunday 30th August 21:59
