I know he's a double WSB champion but Colin Edwards has been running rings around him from what I can see yet it seems like Colin may not have a contract for next season and James probably will!

now I might be misunderstanding what I was seeing last night but wtf! I'm suprised with James's results he's got a drive compared to his team mate who from what I've seen is doing very well in slower machinery compared to rossi pedrosa etc

The issue isn't the performances, relative or not, between Edwards and Toseland. The reason Edwards may be on his way is that Yamaha are trying to place Ben Spiess and Tech 3 wouldn't want 2 Americans in the team. Also Dorna like Toseland and want him to stay, he is very marketable.

A case of pace not being the deciding factor.
