This is it I reckon; anyone know what it is? The Flickr entry has zero information other than that the pictures were taken at Stoneleigh.

The Kent Kit Car sign in the background gives a clue (John Nash Special) but other than that I am stumped.

errrrm.... not at all sure about this.
What's it based on? Tell me it isn't a 2CV underneath.

I've seen this car at Stoneleigh a couple of times, but never managed to catch up with the owner.

I'm pretty sure it's a one-off special. It is very nicely proportioned and detailed, and the quality of workmanship is excellent, but I'm afraid Paul is pobably going to be horrified... as far as I can tell (from the front suspension - I haven't seen under the bonnet), it's based on old Renault 5 components (from back in the days when the R5 had a longitudinal engine mounted behind the gearbox), and as a result is front wheel drive.

Yeah, I looked at this last year while visiting a friend at Team GTM opposite. It is, as above, a Renault 5 based special not a kitcar at all....

I guess the next logical question would be what is the closest kit to one of these?

I can't help but think it looks a little like a penis. Hoping that doesn't reflect on me more than the car boxedin

You know I've seen this car several times at the kit car shows but not once realised it was front wheel drive, I must have just blanked the drive shafts out when looking at the car and appreciating the work that went into it. It really is a fantastic bit of craftsmanship.

Here is a link to a picture I have in the Madabout-Kitcars gallery which has the description of the car

As others have said, it's a stunning bit of work. Before this car, John built a similar three-wheeler which was based on a 2CV. I've written features on both cars for erstwhile title, Which Kit?, in the past...

Bogwoppit - if your penis looks like that you need to see a doctor!!!!!!!!biggrin

I believe the owner is a member of the Kent Kitcar club & i seem to remember him having a matching trailer that he tows with it!!eek I may of course be misremembering.

Whatever the above it is an excellent piece of crafstmanship whether or not you agree with the choice of donor vehicle.
